ROCKFALL PROTECTION SYSTEMS

To protect people and property against falling debris and blocks. We use different systems, from single covering rocky slopes with nets through the use of high-strength nets in combination with short anchors, including sophisticated systems of linear dynamic barriers. Every problem requires a different approach, and the proposal for an appropriate system is mostly a combination of several solutions. Experienced solver is a very important factor of this proposal.

They are popular for their reliability and high security. Thanks to barriers we create a obstacle between rocky slopes and endangered areas. They are used mainly in linear transport structures, due to the possibility to minimize construction interventions with natural landscape character. The impact of falling rocks into barrier leads to the deformation and the energy absorbtion ranging from 100 kJ to 5000kJ depending on the type of barrier. Length, height, placement of barriers is subject to an individual proposal.

Are used to stabilize the surface layers of rock slopes and walls in combination with short anchoring elements. Anchor elements have a function of stabilization. Panels and high-strength netting prevent the rock fragments from falling.

NETTING

They are used for simple wall cladding in combination with the upper longitudinal anchor rope and anchors at the top of rocky slopes. The Netting does not stabilize surface layer of rocky slopes, but controls the trajectory of falling debris and reduce their speed. They are usually designed with a collecting trough that is placed at the bottom of the slope, for the purpose of accumulating rocky fragments.

An integral part of the implementation of rockall protection systems are ropes, plates, anchoring components and fasteners such as couplings, clamps, etc.
