Terminal Intermodal Transport Lužianky pri Nitre

The terminal will have six tracks, two of which are 750 meters long and four of them are 700 meters long. The project also includes a reinforced area for the storage of goods and the construction of a new connecting line from the railway station Lužianka, which is connected to the remaining part of the former track Drážovce – Lužianky. The Innterlocking rail with length 1,05km will connect the terminal of intermodal transport Lužianka to the Lužianka railway station and it means to the railway network of SR. There were used the Thrace geogrids TG 30-30 and TG 40-40  to increase the bearing capacity of the subsoil and the track, the total quantity was 250,000 m².
